Human Resource Management
Pearson BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Business (Human Resource Management). The award comes from Pearson in the UK, not from TIIB.
HR is the part of a business where policy meets people, and this programme treats it that way. You learn recruitment, employment law, pay and performance, and the harder parts: handling a grievance, running a redundancy, keeping a team together through change.

You are assessed on situations HR teams face, not on definitions.
- Written reports and research on HR topics.
- Case studies of workplace situations, with your proposed answer.
- Role-play: recruitment interviews, conflict resolution, counselling.
- Group work designing HR policy or an engagement programme.
- Presentations of HR strategy and recommendations.
- A full HR plan for a business as the final project.
- An internship inside a real HR department.

The internship is guaranteed, and it starts four months in
Not at the end, and not something you have to go and find. It pays up to AED 1,000 a month, based on performance, and hours are capped at 20 a week, which is what a student visa allows.
What it costs
Examination fees are included.
Standard fee. Instalment plans are agreed with your offer. Registration is a one-off AED 1,000, and the application fee is AED 100, which admissions invoices after you apply. Visa costs are separate and are set out on the student visa page.
A Level 5 HND is 240 credits
Direct entry into the final year of a UK bachelor's degree in HR management, business management or organisational psychology.
Those credits are the first two years of a UK bachelor's degree, which is why the last year is one year and not three.
