A parent's guide to sending your child to study in Dubai
For parents: who awards the qualification, whether it leads to a degree, what it costs in total, and the five questions worth asking admissions directly.
You'll learn from 35+ founders who run real companies and pitch for a share of the AED 2 million startup fund. On a two-year diploma the internship pays up to AED 1,000 a month, based on performance.
An admissions counsellor replies within one working day.
Duration and the full fee sit above every row, so you can weigh them against each other before you talk to anyone.
2 yearsAED 40,000 per year
Examination fees are included, so the per-year figure above is the whole of it.
4 monthsAED 25,000 for the programme
Live campaigns on real budgets, reported the way an agency reports them.
1 yearAED 40,000 for the year
One venture, carried across the year to a public launch in front of investors and press.
Founders who run businesses in the region, and an advisory board that reaches well past the UAE. They set the briefs, sit on the pitch panels, and say when an idea does not work.

Meet the boardNot at the end, and not as something you have to go and find. TIIB signed direct agreements with its 22+ partner companies so that placements exist before students need them. Hours are capped at what UAE rules allow a student to work.
By the time you graduate you have a reference from a company with a name, and a real answer when an interviewer asks what you have actually done.

Submit a proposal, defend it in front of a panel, and if it holds up you get funding and someone experienced sitting with you while you build. It is a pool rather than a prize, so more than one venture is backed.

Universities count credits rather than years, so two years here and one final year elsewhere add up to the same degree, two of the three at Dubai fees.

Levels 4 and 5

Tuition, visa, registration, books, rent and the costs nobody lists. A full first-year budget for an international student in Dubai, and what comes back the other way.

Pick the format before the subject, work out what the job looks like on an ordinary Wednesday, then test it cheaply. A practical way through the whole programme list.
The finder asks four questions and narrows the list to two or three. If you would rather just ask someone, admissions replies within one working day.
A few keep the site working. The rest tell us which pages and adverts actually help people find the right programme. You can change this any time from the footer.
